Plastic Surgery Gone Wrong

Plastic Surgery Gone Wrong: Part of our psyche, really deep down, likes seeing the bad effects plastic surgery can do to a person’s face. It’s like when there’s a car accident on the road. Lots of people slow down or stop to see what happened. That’s the same instinct that applies if you see some poor soul who has suffered at the hands of a bad plastic surgeon.

Hang Mioku

Amazingly enough, this surgery-obsessed Korean thought it was a good idea to inject cooking oil into her face! The reasoning was that she had been operated on numerous times by plastic surgeons. It got to the point where nobody would operate anymore. However, she did find a doctor who injected her with silicone and also was silly enough to provide her with a face-injecting kit of her own to do it at home. When she ran out of silicone, she decided to use cooking oil. Imagine the thought process going on in her head. “Hmmm. I have run out of silicone. What else can I use?  Toilet water?  No. Bleach? No. I know! Cooking oil! She could have injected her breakfast into that face and it still would have made no difference.

Jocelyn Wildenstein

This is a well-known story but impossible not to share. This lady’s name was originally Jocelynnys Dayannys da Silva Bezerra but she was also known as “The Bride of Wildenstein” and “Catwoman.” She’s a rich lady married to Alec Wildenstein. He’s an influential businessman who loves exotic animals. They divorced after he had an affair. She tried to win him back by changing herself into a type of exotic animal…a type of cat.

Jackie Stallone

You probably know the surname. She is Sylvester Stallone’s mother. She claims she can talk to dogs. She also claims to be psychic and set up her own hotline to charge people to give them advice. Now she’s more famous for the looks she has that seem a little like too much plastic surgery.

Donatella Versace

The late Gianni Versace, world famous Italian fashion designer, was her brother. It’s sad that, although she’s also a designer, she couldn’t settle for a decent face and has had way too much plastic surgery to even remotely be considered real.

Pete Burns

Pete used to be the front man for Dead or Alive, the British band. His most famous song is “You Spin Me Round (Like A Record.”) He has had a lot of plastic surgery on his face also.

Michael Jackson

The name says it all!

Carrot Top

Carrot Top is a well-known comedian. His real name is Scott Thompson and he’s famous for that red hair as well as his special comedic flair. He’s also known for the plastic surgery.

Dennis Avner

Dennis also uses Stalking Cat, his Native American name. He has had an amazing amount of surgery so he can look like a tiger because it’s his totem animal. The list includes: filing and shaping of his teeth so they look like those of a tiger, transdermal implants so he can wear whiskers, extensive tattooing and subdermal implants to alter his face’s shape.

He’s a man who wants to be a cat?

Amanda Lepore

Aman..da was actually born a man. “She” is famous for her partying, modelling and fashion. “She” had a LOT of surgery to enable her to change her gender completely.

Clint Eastwood Plastic Surgery

Clint Eastwood is a veteran actor in his 80s so it’s no wonder he wants to look good. Although it’s harder to prove with him, it appears he has had a number of procedures done to make his face look a little more youthful.

He has had blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery) which lifts his skin right above the eyes so they don’t look like leather. His eyebrow droops quite a lot but there isn’t a lot of excess skin above his eyelid which is unusual for a man of his age. This means he doesn’t have the “hooded eye look.”

Other procedures may have included chemical peels, chemical chemotherapy and laser skin resurfacing which all help to reduce the number of lines and wrinkles on the face. This is also helpful for bad sun damage and skin cancer.

Despite this information, there’s still speculation that he may or may not have had laser treatment. One expert says that Clint’s face shows too much signs of aging to have had laser treatment.

The positive fact about Clint Eastwood and the facial work he has had done is that it hasn’t made him look fake. It has worked remarkably well to remove specific problems while still making sure his face looks natural. To a man like him, this is a critical part of his macho image. He’s not a man who would want the world to think he has a “plastic face.” It also wouldn’t suit this ruggedly handsome man who can still give the younger actors a run for their money in the looks department

Beyonce Plastic Surgery

Beyonce was a beautiful woman when she was with Destiny’s Child.

Once she was out performing on her own, she felt the need to make some improvements to her face and body to enhance her public image.

At only 29 years old, she has had liposuction, breast implants and a nose job.
Her nose has been thinned so it looks more elegant. The bulbous tip of her nose was fixed by removing some cartilage and narrowing the distance between her nostrils. Her lips have also been thinned. Both of these procedures were done to alter her natural African features.

One of Beyoncé’s alleged forms of plastic surgery procedures was to have her breasts enlarged. This seems obvious when you compare photos from 2002 and 2005. They look more rounded than before and they have a more natural appearance as well.

There has been lots of discussion as to whether Beyonce had Botox and/or liposuction. Her features look good. Her stomach looks quite firm and the lumpiness might be due to liposuction.

There are areas of loose skin and less stomach definition which also indicates she has had liposuction. She has a personal trainer to help her get fit so it’s impossible to prove this is definitely the case.

Can Plastic Surgery Go Wrong?

Plastic surgery isn’t a new concept but there are always stories that crop up about the risks associated with having procedures done badly or even having the wrong procedures done. Nobody can clarify what it actually is. Before you consider having anything done, you need more information. Plastic surgery can be considered a medical procedure with the purpose of modifying your outward appearance. It’s also sometimes called aesthetic surgery. It covers procedures such as burns, micro surgery, hand surgery and reconstructive surgery.

Plastic surgery can be extremely risky as there are potentially lots of side effects, some of which can be fatal. It’s also important to realise that some of the side effects may cause you to look ugly and feel embarrassed. Having a wrong procedure performed could be compared to having a plane crash as far as statistics. Most flights are safe but the odd one crashes. It’s essential to know all surgeries are potentially life threatening. Because of this, no doctor should ever force someone to have surgery, even if it’s to save their life. You may have a tumour but even that could be regarded as elective surgery.

In serious situations, some people may choose plastic surgery but it has to be their choice. It’s important for patients to understand the risks because many procedures are not reversible. A few legal firms make their money from law suits related to wrong surgical procedures being performed. If you looked at the information accessible on the internet, you may conclude that around 25% of patients have had a bad experience.

Let’s look at the main reason why they go wrong. Experts still claim that this happens only on very rare occasions. But if it does happen to you, you need to learn more about the repercussions. You may face life-threatening problems if incorrect measurements are taken, for example. Sometimes you may have bruises and/or swelling. In more serious cases, there could be implants that may leak or bad reactions to the anaesthetic or other medications. Uneven breasts could result if you have that type of surgery and some procedures may even cause death.

Even if you choose an expensive plastic surgeon, nobody can guarantee there won’t be problems. People may be obsessed with certain celebrities and how they look. But they forget the celebrities also had to face the same problems and risks because stardom doesn’t give them immunity. Other issues can include: painful, breast implants that harden and also they may move from the position in which they have been placed.

The after effects of bad surgery can be horrible. You need to deal with lawyers and other authorities and that can be very costly and time consuming. Your new look could be permanent so you still have to contend with that while trying to sue the surgeon who made the mistake. The problem may not be able to be corrected.

Even if the physical pain eases, the mental anguish will be more severe and won’t heal as easily. Your bills may pile up with no pay to pay them so your stress levels will increase too. It can take a long time for the legal system to sort the mess out for you and you may not even win.

This topic has a lot of different solutions. You should be happy with your natural look or seek natural remedies to alter aspects that may not be as pleasing to you. Plastic surgery should only ever be considered as a last choice if everything else fails. Then you need to thoroughly vet the surgeon to ensure he’s qualified and very experienced in doing the procedure you wish to have done.

Nicole Kidman’s Plastic Surgery – Before and After

Nicole Kidman is unquestionably one of Hollywood’s most talented and attractive actors. However, she decided her natural looks were not good enough. She’s now 44 years old and has to compete with younger actors for major roles.

For a long time, Nicole denied all rumours that she had undergone any form of plastic surgery or enhancement at all. Most of the general public didn’t believe this because of the changes noticed in various photos and real life sightings of her over the years.

Nicole has now admitted to a number of things. She has used Botox because she felt she had too many lines on her face that made her look a bit older than she wanted to be. She has paid frequent visit to her plastic surgeon for Botox therapy to eliminate as many of these lines as possible. If you look at her face now, it’s difficult to find any sign of wrinkles at all.

Some say that she had too much Botox on her face and now she seems not to have any expressions at all. She claims she has stopped using Botox so that she can move her face again and regain the expressions that seemed to disappear. She was quoted as saying that she was grateful to be able to move her forehead again.

nicole_kidman-plastic-surgeryShe also believed her lips were too small and undefined. So she decided to undergo a procedure to augment her lips so they look more defined and pronounced instead of disappearing when the camera was on her or needing heavy makeup to make them appear more pronounced than they are naturally.

Nicole had her breasts increased in size. Some say that they were very small prior to the surgery but now they seem to be “unnaturally big.”

Nicole has had work done on her nose. The nostrils are smaller now. It’s more defined than before and the tip of her nose is shorter and has been slightly retracted in a procedure called rhinoplasty.

There are some people who claim Nicole has had her eyes, eye brows, and teeth done as well. They also comment that it’s sad that a lady who used to have such a beautiful, innocent look now appears to be quite artificial if you examine her face closely.

Of course, when she’s filming, makeup can do wonders for her appearance so she still can retain her beauty on the screen. The big question is how much plastic surgery will be enough for Nicole?

Will she keep on going or will she set a good example for her many loyal fans, many of whom would emulate whatever she does, good or bad?

Bad Plastic Surgery – Is It Fact Or Fiction?

Certain incidents require people to have reconstructive surgery to repair vital organs and save lives. Regardless of the procedure, patient consent must be obtained. Because cosmetic surgery isn’t usually life-threatening, it’s considered voluntary. However, there have still been times when things have gone wrong.

Dodgy surgeons will try to convince you that, due to recent innovations, the risk factors are almost zero. Most procedures are carried out satisfactorily and the patient is happy with the result. However, there are still stories and photos appearing online from the times when something has gone wrong. Some law firms even make a living from such procedures doctors. What does it all mean? If lawyers believe it’s a lucrative enough area to specialise in, wrong plastic surgery cases must happen. Statistics reveal that 25% of patients have a bad experience during or after surgery.

So What Does Go Wrong?

Assume, for the moment, that plastic surgery procedures are safe. This means bad cases are rare. You would then be extremely unlucky if something went wrong with your procedure.

Stallone & His Mother

Here are some of the most serious issues that can arise if plastic surgery goes wrong:

  • Leaking and/or hardening of implants.
  • Slipping/Movement of the implants.
  • Bad reaction to some medications.
  • Droopy and/or unbalanced size of the breasts.
  • Too much skin was removed.
  • Organ/tissue/nerve damage.
  • Death.

What Happens Afterwards?

If your procedure goes wrong, you may have to recuperate for a longer period than planned. This may mean you’ll incur bigger medical bills. You may have to miss days or even weeks of work and not have enough paid leave owing. You may end up suing the doctor. Because of the legal issues, it could be very stressful, expensive and time-consuming. In some worst case scenarios, you may look worse than before and have chronic, severe pain that will take forever to either cure or merely get to a manageable level. The emotional pain will usually drag you down for much longer.

What You Can Do?

You need to try all natural and/or herbal medications and alternative modalities before seeking cosmetic surgery because of the enormous risks involved as well as the high cost.

Always look for a trustworthy plastic surgeon. He must be qualified, easy to communicate with and will be able to assess whether you’ll need extra support at home. He must be officially certified as well. Make sure you see his graduation certificates.
